Algerian Solitaire represents a complex variant of the traditional card game, requiring strategic skill and careful planning. Players must successfully transfer all cards to eight foundational piles: four descending sequences starting from the King and four ascending sequences beginning with the Ace. The tableau permits card placement either ascending or descending within the same suit. Players can retrieve additional cards by selecting the closed deck.
