The game mechanics are as follows:
- Checkers move diagonally forward, while kings can move diagonally in any direction.
- Capturing is mandatory, and captured pieces are removed after each turn.
- If multiple capture opportunities are available, the player must continue the capture sequence until no further captures can be made.
- Kings land on any free square after capturing.
- Checkers that reach the last row are promoted to kings and may continue capturing.
- The Turkish strike rule prohibits a capture if a beaten piece blocks the path.
- Players can choose from various capture options when multiple are available.
